A final grounds and church exterior maintenance workday before Bp. Basil’s visit will be Sat. Nov. 7th; please mark your calendars now and plan to participate.

Eleven men showed up for the September 19 work day at the Church. Much was accomplished between 8 and 10 am. Hedges were trimmed, trees and shrubs pruned and mulched, many beds weeded and mulched. Sore muscles and soaring fellowship resulted from the exercise!

Michael Kendall and Terry Buford hosted us on August 22 for a stellar social gathering. There were some 15 men present to enjoy outstanding food (this seems to be a hallmark of our meetings!). The bulk of our time was spent eating and participating in a stimulating discussion concerning the state of the Church in this country.

Members of the St. Joseph Men's group completed a successful work project Saturday, April 11th. Shrubs, trees and plant beds that are most visible on entering the Church and fellowship hall were mulched in preparation for Holy Week and Pascha. In addition some of the smaller trees on the north side of the parking lot were mulched. There are still small trees and shrubs in the northerly area as well as on the east side of the Church that are in need of mulching. Special thanks to Blair Birthisel who ordered the mulch and served as our reluctant, but effective, foreman of the project.
